Slow Food Portland’s summer fundraiser returns to the beautiful l’Orto Nostrano, the kitchen garden of celebrated Portland restaurant Nostrana. Nestled just off the street but a world away, this hidden urban oasis sets the stage for a relaxed and lively evening of wine tasting, seasonal bites, and shared values.
Join Slow Food Portland for our June Convivium featuring Mike Guebert of Terra Farma and Friends of Family Farmers’ Oregon Pasture Network. Mike will explore how regenerative livestock farming can build soil health, improve ecosystem resilience, support animal welfare, and produce nutrient-dense food while offering an alternative to industrial meat production.
Join Slow Food Portland and Creo Chocolate for an evening of tasting and conversation about the craft and care behind real chocolate.
Negroni Week with Aviation Gin
All week long, Aviation Gin is supporting our chapter with proceeds from distillery tours, Negroni flights, and select merch sales.
Join us for a summer fundraiser in Nostrana’s lush kitchen garden. Enjoy wine tastings, seasonal bites, and community connection, all in support of efforts to address food insecurity across Oregon.
Join Slow Food Portland for a powerful evening of community, conversation, and action. As food insecurity rises across the state, we’re bringing together experts working on the front lines of hunger in Oregon to discuss what’s happening, why it’s happening, and what we can do about it.
The evening includes a short social hour followed by a panel discussion exploring the root causes of hunger, policy impacts, and community-driven solutions.
Slow Food Portland will be tabling at the Hillsdale Farmers Market on May 18. Stop by to learn more about our upcoming events, meet some of our board members, and find out how you can get involved in supporting good, clean, and fair food in your community.
