Join us for an afternoon of baking, tasting beer, and biking! We'll meet at Cookshop where we'll start making some bread doughs, utilizing beer and spent grains. While those doughs are proofing, we'll bike over to Leikam Brewing to tour their backyard brewery and taste some beer. Next, we'll return to Cookshop to shape and bake our breads. While the bread is in the oven, we'll enjoy a picnic lunch. Each student will leave with 2 loaves of bread.

This class is being held in partnership with Slow Food Portland, whose mission is to "promote good, clean food". As a Social Impact Partner Experience, 20% of your class fee will go towards supporting Slow Food.
